Tips for Parents

The thought of taking your 16 year old out for their first drive, can be very daunting for a parent.  Stop and think about it for a minute.  For 16 years your son or daughter has relied on you for everything, and you have taken care of them from the day they were born.  Then they turn 16 and all of a sudden it becomes  very real, they are growing up.

So what now?  Do you throw them in the drivers seat and just see how it goes?  That can work with some kids but not others.  So another option is to engage a driving instructor to get them started, and after a few lessons deliver them back to you with enough skills to enable you to take over and get them on their way to a positive and safe learning curve.

Our Federal Government has a program to help start you off on the front foot.  Check out this website, www.keys2drive.com.au

Most driving schools have an instructor certified to deliver this free educational session, so why not take advantage of it, and get started the right way.

So jump on their website, register for the Free Lesson,  choose your instructor and your are set to go.

If I can help at all just call me or drop me a line
