I am told by some of my clients that availability of bookings for a P’s test is currently around the first week of September, and for the Hazard Perception Test it is around mid-August.
If you are approaching the time you can sit these tests, I would strongly recommend that you plan ahead and get in early.
If you need lessons from your driving instructor leading up to your test make sure that you contact them and make your bookings early, and if you are planning on using your driving instructor’s car for the test make sure they are available before you book it.
I have seen on our local news that there have been a few cases of Corona Virus locally, so it could be possible that in the future the RMS may cease conducting tests again.
It would be advisable to book your driving test as soon as possible, as if the RMS stop testing you may get priority once they resume. They did this after the first lockdown.
Finally, stay safe, keep driving and planning towards that exciting day that you go for your licence.
